Lip Lift

Although this is a relatively straightforward procedure, cutting into the skin will provide a degree of pain and discomfort. The procedure can be safely carried out under a local anaesthetic and there isn’t usually the need for a general anaesthetic where you will be asleep through the surgery with a lip lift. Pain relief will be prescribed for you to take at home in the days and weeks that follow the surgery, helping you manage any discomfort.

Although you can wash your face and hair as soon as the next day, you should be careful not to get the lips or mouth area wet. The wounds will need around 2 weeks of healing before a bath / shower or swimming is allowed, although this period may be extended if healing is delayed.
